NEW DELHI (India CSR): As part of its CSR initiative, India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt. Ltd. has extended its support to public healthcare by donating essential medical equipment to the Government District Combined Hospital, Noida. This contribution reflects IYM’s ongoing commitment to improving access to quality healthcare at government hospitals. Established in 1992 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, the 240‑bed facility serves patients from Gautam Buddh Nagar district and surrounding regions, and remains one of the most relied‑upon medical centres for economically weaker sections of society.
Responding to the hospital’s identified needs for its Blood Bank and Physiotherapy Department, IYM donated Deep Freezers, Low‑Frequency Magnetic Field Therapy Units, Vacuum Therapy Systems, Cluster and Scanning Applicators, and Infrared Therapy Equipment—critical resources that will significantly enhance patient care and treatment capabilities.
The equipment was formally handed over to hospital authorities on 9th March 2026 in the presence of Mr. Atsushi Nagashima, Corporate Director, Yamaha Motor India.
The hospital manages a daily OPD load of around 3,000 patients and offers a comprehensive range of services including specialty OPDs, a haemodialysis unit, blood centre, ICU, multispecialty OTs, laboratory services, radiology, and physiotherapy. The support is expected to benefit a population of nearly 24 lakh people, many of whom work in nearby factories, industries, shops, and rural areas, and depend entirely on this hospital for medical assistance.
Guided by its corporate philosophy, IYM’s sustainability efforts are built on four pillars—Health, Education, Environment, and Road Safety. This initiative underscores Yamaha’s long‑standing commitment to community health and preventive care, reinforcing its role as a trusted partner in driving meaningful and lasting impact in the communities it serves.
