Vedanta Ltd., Jharsuguda’s employees with the support of the local community conducted a mass painting competition for children in the peripheral villages. Themed on ‘Save the Earth’ and ‘Clean India, Green India ’, the competition saw participation of nearly 250 children from classes 4th – 9th who inked their interpretations of the themes amidst a festive gathering of nearly 400 members of the community.
The competition was held at 5 locations in Jharsuguda namely, Maa Samaleswari Nagar, Brundamal, Bhurkamunda, Kurebaga and Banjari villages.

Employee Volunteerism Program (EVP) is the signature community connect program designed by Vedanta Ltd., Jharsuguda’s PR and CSR departments to create avenues for employees to contribute to the social good in meaningful and effective ways. More such programs have been planned by the EVP team in the upcoming months.
