NEW DELHI: Select CITYWALK reached out to the underprivileged with a free Cataract eye camp. Patients who were suffering from eye diseases benefited from the camp, which saw a turnover of over 360 people of which 209 were male and 152 were female.
With different kinds of eye problems, patients showed up to get themselves tested. While eight patients were detected with Cataract, one person has already undergone the operation successfully.
This initiative was in collaboration with I CARE HOSPITAL based in Noida. They in support distributed 431 units of medication to the patients and 203 spectacles were given to patients suffering from refractive issues.
“Select CITYWALK will soon be conducting another eye camp for the local community . This camp will once again address the issues of those who cannot afford medication or surgeries,” said Yogeshwar Sharma, Executive Director and CEO, Select CITYWALK.
