AMRITSAR: Bharti Foundation announces the achievement of students of Satya Bharti Adarsh Senior Secondary schools located in remote rural Punjab in the Class XII CBSE Board Examinations.
The success of children becomes special as most of them come from weak economic background and parents are primarily engaged as daily wage earners.
These students, especially the girls, who outshined boys with 98% pass percentage, withstood various social and economic pressures but despite these adversities, have proven that given the opportunity they can provide outcomes at par with more privileged students.
Satya Bharti Schools are operational across the villages of Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. Of the 254 schools, 249 schools are primary/elementary schools and five schools are senior secondary schools run in public-private partnership mode under Punjab Government’s Adarsh Scheme.
