The association with SBI Foundation is for its Mobile Medical Units for serving the most vulnerable communities with health care services.
MUMBAI: National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL), a securities depository in India, has announced a partnership with SBI Foundation to provide health care services to underserved communities in India through “Project Sanjeevani,” also known as “Clinic-on-Wheels.”
This mobile medical unit will offer primary, preventive, diagnostic, curative, and referral health services to people in areas where basic and primary health care is not easily accessible.
The collaboration was signed and exchanged between NSDL and SBI Foundation in Mumbai, with representatives from both organizations present.
The partnership aims to provide health services to all and is part of the SBI Foundation’s corporate social responsibility efforts.
Padmaja Chunduru, MD & CEO of NSDL, emphasized the importance of a good health care system and the value of partnering with SBI Foundation for the “Project Sanjeevani – Clinic-on-Wheels,” which aims to provide health care services and improve the wellbeing of underserved communities.
Sanjay Prakash, MD & CEO of SBI Foundation, stated that “Project Sanjeevani” is a key corporate social responsibility project aimed at providing primary health care services to underserved communities through mobile medical units. He expressed his excitement at NSDL joining forces with SBI Foundation to implement the project across strategically planned locations in India and shared the belief that the collaboration will help achieve the goal of health services for all in the future.
