- Applicants: Nearly 100,000 first-year undergraduate students applied from all States and Union Territories.
- Academic Excellence: 83% of selected scholars scored above 90% in Class XII.
- Economic Background: Around 70% come from households with an annual income below ₹2.5 lakh.
- Inclusivity: 147 scholars are students with disabilities.
- Geographic Spread: Scholars hail from 540 districts and are studying in over 1,300 institutes across the country.
The scholarships cover tuition fees, hostel expenses, and other educational costs, enabling students to focus entirely on their studies.

In addition to financial assistance, scholars benefit from a wide range of developmental opportunities:
- Mentorship Programmes: Expert guidance to shape career paths.
- Skill-Building Workshops: Training sessions to enhance both technical and soft skills.
- Leadership Development: Scholars are encouraged to develop leadership qualities through participation in social initiatives and volunteer activities.
“Education is the key to unlocking opportunities, and we are proud to be a part of these transformative journeys,” added the spokesperson.
