During last 10 years, JSPL has impacted 10 lakh lives with an investment of Rs. 295.68 Crore in various social sectors including Health, Education, Entrepreneurship Development, Rural Infrastructure Building, Sports, Arts and Culture, Natural Resource Management and Infrastructure for Social Development – Institutions.
The Company has spent highest amount, Rs. 147.2 Crore in developing Infrastructure for Social Development-Institutions in last years.
Besides, the company has spent Rs. 74.55 Crore in Rural Infrastructure building, Rs. 31.31 Crore in Health, Rs. 19.09 Crore in Education, Rs. 11.34 Crore in Natural Resource Management, Rs. 9.12 Crore in Sports, Art and Culture activities and Rs. 3.06 Crore in Entrepreneurship Development.
JSPL’s such investment reflects its strong commitment towards making a positive contribution to the underprivileged communities.
Amongst the major social development initiatives of JSPL, under the umbrella of JSPL Foundation, OP Jindal Hospital, OP Jindal Schools, OP Jindal University, OP Jindal Community Colleges, WADI programme for tribal development and ASHA – the Hope for rehabilitation of differently abled children and Vastalya for IMR & MMR are highly significant.
