Delivering mid-day meal to government and aided schools in Delhi, over 10,000 kids daily will be benefitting from this inspiring initiative
NEW DELHI (India CSR): As part of the Corporate Social Responsibility, India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. (IYM) has announced a meaningful partnership with Annamrita Foundation, a renowned not-for-profit organization committed to eradicating classroom hunger. As part of this collaboration, IYM has donated five specialized food delivery vans designed to transport mid-day meals from Annamrita’s centralized kitchens to Delhi government and aided schools in Delhi. These vehicles will serve as a critical link in ensuring that hot, nutritious meals reach thousands of children on time, every single day.
This initiative is expected to benefit over 10,000 students daily, reinforcing IYM’s dedication to building stronger communities and supporting education for underprivileged children. By addressing hunger, Yamaha is helping children focus on learning and dreaming big – rather than worrying about their next meal. The five specialized vans donated by Yamaha will act as lifelines in Annamrita’s supply chain – a chain that begins with a fundamental right to food and culminates in the smile of a child who can now focus on learning.

The Yamaha Motor Group believes that true Corporate Social Responsibility lies in contributing to the sustainable development of society through our business activities, guided by the company’s Corporate Philosophy. The sustainability framework rests on four pillars – Health, Education, Environment, and Road Safety. Through this initiative, Yamaha aims to empower health and education by ensuring that hunger never stands in the way of a child’s dreams.
For more than two decades, Annamrita Foundation has been a beacon of hope for millions of children across India. Through its extensive network of centralized kitchens and delivery systems, the foundation provides wholesome mid-day meals to government and aided schools, ensuring that no child is deprived of nutrition – a fundamental right and a cornerstone for academic success.
This partnership is more than a donation – it is a promise. A promise to nurture young minds, to build a future where every child has the strength to learn, grow, and thrive.
