NEW DELHI (India CSR): ICPA Health Products Ltd (ICPA), a leading Indian pharma firm, has donated a Rs.1 Cr Elite Viscera Laparoscopic system to KEM Hospital (KEMH), further enhancing their commitment towards corporate social responsibility (CSR). This donation of the world’s most advanced laparoscopy system will immensely benefit KEMH’s Gastroenterology Department, already handling over 400 laparoscopic surgeries per year.
The inauguration event saw ICPA’s Founder and MD, Rohit Mehta, unveiling the technology alongside Dr Chetan Kantharia, Head of Gastroenterology at KEMH. This unique initiative will not only decrease surgery times but also improve the precision and safety of complex surgeries, making KEMH the first public hospital in India to own such a system. With previous contributions including medical equipment to various hospital departments, ICPA continues its tradition of supporting healthcare innovation and patient welfare.
