Mumbai– Goldmedal Electricals, the leading fast moving electrical goods company based in Mumbai has stepped forward to assist people affected by the unprecedented flood situation in Kerala.
The company is dispensing essential grocery kits to more than 1000 families who have been displaced due to this unfortunate natural calamity.
Goldmedal Electricals has been sending across dry food items such as rice, dal, sugar, salt and other essentials, to people residing in relief camps in Malappuram district and Wayanad region which are some of the most affected areas.
Kishan Jain, Director, Goldmedal Electricals said, “We stand alongside the people of Kerala in their hour of need and will continue working towards providing disaster relief until normalcy is restored in the state.”
The items were distributed in the presence of PV Anwar, MLA of Nilambur (Malappuram district) and Sasheendran, MLA of Kalpetta (Wayanad region).
With an aim to support the flood victims, Goldmedal Electricals has made a contribution of approximately six lakhs by providing emergency basic rations and is encouraging others to do the same.
