FMC India inaugurated a Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) oxygen plant it donated to the Aranya Hospital, in Scheme Number 74, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
The oxygen plant was inaugurated by Ravi Annavarapu, president of FMC India in the presence of Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Hon’ble National General Secretary, Bhartiya Janata Party, and Ramesh Mendola, Member Legislative Assembly, Indore-2, Madhya Pradesh. The newly installed PSA oxygen plant is equipped to supply 10 NM3/ Hour of oxygen to support 16 beds and patients simultaneously.
On the occasion, Annavarapu said, “We are committed to supporting the nation in its fight against the pandemic. The PSA Oxygen plant at Indore is a small but significant step towards building critical healthcare infrastructure, especially in rural areas. We are confident that this initiative will be critical in providing support to patients in need today and in the future.”
Speaking at the occasion, Kailash Vijayvargiya applauded the efforts of FMC in serving local communities.
Ramesh Mendola, MLA, Indore lauded the initiative by FMC India. He said, “This is a great initiative by FMC India and will support the strengthening of healthcare infrastructure in Indore. We are taking measures to be well prepared in case of a third wave, by ensuring a sufficient supply of critical resources including liquid oxygen. We are thankful to FMC Corporation for this thoughtful contribution.”

FMC India had committed to procure and donate eight Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) oxygen plants to hospitals in Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat.
The installation of PSA oxygen plants at these hospitals will enable a continued supply of oxygen, without the challenges of transportation logistics.
FMC India has also launched a multi-faceted campaign aimed at educating local farmers and growers about safety and wellness measures to protect themselves from COVID-19. The awareness campaign has reached about 1.3Mn farmers across leading agricultural states in India.
