Ahmedabad: Concord Biotech Ltd and Friends Union for Energising Lives (FUEL) commenced which will provide STEM Coaching to students of Defence School Ahmedabad and establish two STEM Labs at Govt Schools, Dholka under the CSR initiative of Concord Biotech. In association with Concord Biotech, FUEL to support defence school students with STEM Learning & Academic Coaching during their milestone year.
Col S K Vaid, Director Administration and Megha Vaid, Director Corporate Affairs from Concord Biotech, and Mrs. Sangeeta Patel, Principal, APS Ahmedabad graced the event. Principal has expressed heartfelt thanks to Concord Biotech and FUEL to bring the very essential academic coaching for the defence school students along with which students have been given happiness kits which include, school bag, notebooks, pencil, pen, writing pads, and a T-shirt. 5 Students were selected for scholarship support who have performed well in the Aptitude Test conducted by FUEL and who are from needy family background and from defence sector.
In addition to the STEM Learning and Academic Coaching, FUEL will focus on:
- Increasing self-awareness of the students through introducing them to future technologies by conducting a workshop.
- Educating them about various career paths and futuristic skills
- Helping them pursue their chosen path by having industry expert sessions
Col. S K Vaid, Director Administration, Concord Biotech has shared how the organization has evolved and now has a vision of making India a Biotechnology hub by preparing it from today. He as well explained the various pioneer work Concord Biotech is doing and has a very strong CSR wing to support the community at large.
