NEW DELHI (India CSR): Uttam Lal, a renowned HR professional and CSR stalwart, has assumed the position of Director (Personnel) at NHPC Limited, India’s leading hydropower company.
Before joining NHPC, Shri Lal held the role of Chief General Manager (HR-CSR/R&R/LA) at NTPC Limited, one of India’s largest energy conglomerates. With over 35 years of extensive experience in the power sector, Shri Lal has honed his expertise in Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, and Corporate Social Responsibility.
His progressive career trajectory testifies to his unwavering commitment to synergizing human resource potential with organizational goals and vision, which has brought him recognition and respect within the industry.
Shri Lal’s educational background includes a PG Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from the reputed Xavier Institute of Social Sciences in Ranchi. Additionally, he possesses an LLB degree from Ranchi University.
