BELAGAVI (India CSR): Bank of India, reinforcing its commitment to community healthcare, through itsMaratha Mandal Branch, Belagavi, donated an ambulance to Maratha Mandal’s Nathajirao G. Halgekar Institute of Dental Sciences & Research Centre (MMNGHIDS & RC), Belagavi, to strengthen patient transport and emergency medical responsereflecting the Bank’s philosophy of “Relationship beyond Banking.” The ambulance was formally handed over during a ceremony held at the premises of MMNGHIDS & RC.
Bank of India, represented by Tarini Charan Sahu, Zonal Manager, Hubballi–Dharwad Zone, and Abhinav Pandey, Deputy Zonal Manager, Hubballi–Dharwad Zone, handed over the keys of the ambulance to Dr. Rajshree Nagaraju, President, Maratha Mandal, and Dr. Ramakant Nayak, Principal, MMNGHIDS & RC. Senior officials from Bank of India and Maratha Mandal were present on the occasion. A number of esteemed clients of Bank of India, Maratha Mandal Branch also graced the occasion.

Abhinav Pandey, Deputy Zonal Manager, Hubballi–Dharwad Zone, speaking on the occasion said, “The initiative underscores Bank of India’s continued focus on social responsibility and community well-being. The Bank shares a relationship of trust and shared values with Maratha Mandal, and we are pleased to support MMNGHIDS & RC in enhancing its patient care and emergency response capabilities.”
The donation of the ambulance is expected to significantly strengthen emergency medical response and patient transport facilities at MMNGHIDS & RC, thereby supporting improved access to timely healthcare services for patients and the surrounding community.

Dr. Ramakant Nayak, Principal, MMNGHIDS & RC speaking on the occasion said, “The addition of this ambulance will significantly enhance our ability to provide timely medical assistance and patient transport. We sincerely thank Bank of India for its continued support and for recognising the importance of strengthening healthcare infrastructure within academic medical institutions.”
