HYDERABAD: Taking a step towards ensuring the safety of the city, ADP India collaborated with the Cyberabad Police Department to install 51 CCTV cameras at the Nanakaramguda area. During the ongoing battle against COVID-19, the organization stands alongside the police force that has tirelessly been on the frontline.

The installation is aimed at assisting the Police department to keep a close watch and real-time tracking of the movement in the streets and increase the safety quotient. These CCTVs will cover the Nanakaramguda area in the city and will be spread through a stretch of 4kms, the company said.

The installation of surveillance cameras significantly helps in the deterrence of criminals along and reducing the time and resources spent on maintaining peace and keeping law & order in place.

M. Venkateshwarlu, DCP, Madhapur Zone, said, “This is a thoughtful gesture from ADP India in extending their support to achieve this objective. We are proud to state, and multiple surveys reinforce the fact that Hyderabad, is one of the safest cities with a strong support provided by a high number of CCTVs installed in the city. We are the pioneers in utilizing the latest technology in surveilling traffic enforcement, crime detection, and prevention.”

Vijay Vemulapalli, General Manager & Managing Director said, “In over 2 decades of ADP India’s journey in the country, especially in Hyderabad, we have taken up multiple initiatives and have been contributing to the upliftment of the community. Alongwith, the company, our associates have also played a significant role in achieving these and we will continue to work with the community stakeholders.”

Dr. Vipul Singh, Divisional Vice President and Head of HR, Communications & CSR, ADP India, said, “As a responsible corporate, we are happy to extend the support to the Police department in ensuring to make Hyderabad as a safe city for its citizens. We respect the dedicated efforts of the police force throughout this unprecedented crisis, and we wish to support them through this initiative.”

“We aspire to showcase that social responsibility is deeply ingrained in ADP’s philosophy with our commitment to community development. At a community level, we have always strived for the betterment of the city and these CCTVs will assist our city police in promoting safety and abidance of law.”, he added.

The current drive is in continuation to ADP India’s previous collaboration with the city police to install CCTV cameras in Somajiguda area of the city as well. Over the last decade, ADP has consistently served the community through its employee-driven and leadership-led community empowerment initiatives. Their MIDAS (Making Impactful Difference at School) program benefitted more than 46,000 lives in FY 2020.
