A Feat No Ordinary
In an inspiring demonstration of resilience and unwavering dedication, the young girls from Kannur village in Kolar, Karnataka, have touched hearts with their remarkable triumph at the South India Cup, National Open Championship in Bangalore. These 15 extraordinary students, participating in both Karate and Kickboxing divisions, brought their village immense pride and honor by demonstrating their exceptional martial arts skills. Their journey, fueled by determination and hard work, led to a heartwarming outcome: 7 first-place holders, 4 second-place holders, and 13 third-place finishes, symbolizing their sweeping victory at the championship.
Turned the Tables Around
This achievement is not only a testament to their talent but also a reflection of their indomitable spirit. “These girls have exemplified extraordinary grit, determination and resilience. They’ve proven that right support with honesty of purpose and appropriate opportunities can result in daunting feats. Until last year they couldn’t have even imagined the heights that they could scale even in the face of dire adversities posed by their socio-economic limitations and the conservatively myopic outlook of the village men. Today these girls and many more are raring to go and conquer all that truly belongs to them. This is a befitting answer to Misogyny.” said Puneet Katyal, CEO of Viviid Emissions Reductions Universal Private Limited interacting with the Correspondent of India CSR.
