In an effort to support the Maharashtra State Government, Axis Bank, India’s third largest private-sector bank stands committed to providing essential items to the areas which are most affected due to the pandemic.
The Bank has been working closely with local government bodies and authorities like Pune Municipal Corporation, CP-Pune Municipal Corporation, Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, CP-Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, Sasoon General Hospital – Pune and Nagpur Municipal Corporation to address the basic requirements of the citizens.
The Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar acknowledged and felicitated Ravi Narayanan, President and Head – Branch Banking for Axis Bank’s contribution towards this important initiative.
With cases spiralling up, there is a pressing need for several essential items that will help arresting spread of the virus in the State. The Bank has provided such essential items like PPE kits, N95 Washable Masks, Sanitizers, Mobile clinics, Intubation boxes, Sodium Hypochloride solution, Spray Pumps, Thermal IR Guns, Oxymeters etc., to the frontline workers and citizens.
In addition, during these critical times the bank continues to provide all banking and financial solutions through its vast network of 473 branches across the State.
