Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that 100 new Swami Atmanand English medium schools will be opened across State. CM stated this during the inauguration of a newly constructed school at Godaripara in Chirmiri on December 12, 2020.
Baghel said that it is the priority of Government to realise the dreams of the children of poor families to study in good english medium schools and progress in life. On demand of people’s representatives, Chief Minister said that he would send a proposal to Centre for opening a new medical college in Chirmiri.
CM said that the Chirmiri School could be develop like the schools of Mussoorie and Dehradun, as the natural beauty here are very favourable for this.
He said that the Government has started 52 such schools in the entire State to provide better education to children of poor families.
Chief Minister reiterated his resolve for the overall development of the entire State, including Koriya during the meeting with the local representatives. During the discussion, he said that lack of money will never come in the way of development of the district, including Chirmiri, Manendragarh, Baikunthpur.
On demand of public representatives, CM also instructed to develop Chirmiri as a hill station from the tourism point of view. He also agreed to prepare a detailed action plan for repairing the roads of the district under State Government and construction of new roads.
