MUMBAI: The Consumer Guidance Society’s Summer Consumer Grievance Redressal Camp planned to be held on 27th May 2014 has got very encouraging response.
“Two developments of great interest are the confirmed participation of RTI Ex-Central Information Commissioner, Mr. Shailesh Gandhi who will be visiting the Camp between 11.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon to guide persons having grievances under the RTI Act,” said Dr. M.S. Kamath, Hon. Secretary, CGSI.
A representative from a Credit assistance agency has also confirmed his attendance to help those struggling with loans that have gone out of hand. Legal Advice is also being given for a token fee. The Camp will also redress complaints about Credit Card Frauds, Cyber Crime and Builders cheating consumers. The Consumer Camp is on Tuesday 27th May 2014 at Tendulkar Hall, Moghul Lane, Mahim, Mumbai.
Consumers who wish to participate in this camp can register their complaint by calling up the Toll Free Helpline No. 1800 222262, by sending an e-mail tomah.helpline@gmail.com, by sending an SMS to 9773336400 with their name, area and the name of the company against whom they have a complaint or by writing a letter to the society at its official address.
