New Delhi – India’s leading healthcare providers, BLK Super Specialty Hospital announced the opening of a multi specialty clinic for South Delhi residents with an aim to expand advance treatment and healthcare.
The clinic located in Safdarjung Enclave, becomes operational with a health check-up camp with the consultations of orthopaedics, joint replacement, cardiology and gastroenterology to over 100 people from neighbouring resident welfare associations.
The health check-up camp was organised for free tests of hypertension, BMD, blood sugar, Hb, HbA1C, hepatitis, lipid profile and LKFT (Liver & Kidney Profile).
“It is an effort towards easy access to quality healthcare which shall provide specialised services in South Delhi by our highly experienced experts, who will be available to the people of this area on a regular basis”, Sanjay Mehta, Head Medical Services, BLK super specialty hospital said.
“We are planning to bring more such events in this area in coming months”, he further added.
“It was observed that 80% have lower bone density, nearly 50-60% people had complaints of back pain and around 30-40% had knee problems”, Bhushan Naraini, Director of joint replacement, BLK super speciality hospital said.
Sports enthusiasts will be the main beneficiaries and will have healthcare facilities in neighbourhood.
Apart from orthopaedics, people will be provided with the advance treatment for cardiology, oncology, and nephrology.
