NEW DELHI: Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Greater Noida has received Gold Award for its PGDM (Sustainable Development Practices) programme. This programme was judged best among all entries in respect of theme “Effective Engagement between Industry and Institute” during Management Conclave organised by MBA Universe from 2-3 August 2013 at New Delhi. The award was given by Dr Shashi Tharoor, Honorable Minister of State HRD, Govt. of India.
Indian Management Conclave 2013 was organized for the fourth time by MBA Universe to identify best practices/ideas/initiatives that are making positive impact in different B-Schools for enhancing value of MBA Education. The award ceremony was attended by over 250 MBA Educators including Directors from B-schools across India, China, USA, Singapore and Canada. Dr. Tharoor was the Guest of Honor & Valedictory Keynote Speaker for 4th Indian Management Conclave.
BIMTECH was adjudged winner among several other finalists by an eminent jury including Dr. Devi Singh, Director, IIM Lucknow; Fr. E. Abraham S.J., Director, XLRI, Jamshedpur; Dr. Pritam Singh, DG, IMI & Former Director IIM Lucknow; Dr Rajan Saxena, Vice Chancellor, NMIMS University, Mumbai; Dr Debashis Chatterjee, Director, IIM Kozhikode and Dr Sesha Iyer, Director, S P Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai.
The Awards instituted by MBAUniverse.com had received more than 50 nominations from B-schools and University MBA departments across India such as IIM-Kashipur, T.A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal, Goa Institute of Management, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai, ITM-Navi Mumbai etc.
