MUMBAI: Roberto Taiariol – CSR Head and Chief Audit Executive of Benetton Group will deliver a keynote talk India CSR Leadership Summit & Awards being organized by India CSR Network on May 26, 2016 at Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai, India.
He will share his experiences and practices in building sustainable organization as well as his vision and values of Benetton Group towards global leadership. The day long India CSR Leadership Summit & Awards will witness vibrant political leaders, CSR think tanks, thinkers, social reformers and Govt. officials. It would be one of the biggest CSR knowledge and idea sharing forum in the year 2017.
Roberto Taiariol is the CSR Head and Chief Audit Executive of Benetton Group. As CSR Head – a role he has taken on at the beginning of 2017 – he works in coordination with the company management and its Sustainability Committee to define and implement the company’s sustainability strategy, to coordinate sustainability projects and activities, to assess, prevent and manage the risks associated with sustainability issues and to ensure the diffusion of a corporate culture on sustainability.
Taiariol has also had the role of Chief Audit Executive of Benetton Group since 2003. In this capacity, he has lead the “Detox Programme” launched by Benetton Group in 2013 and he has been the CSR Audit Responsible, implementing a CSR audit program to ensure the compliance of Benetton Group’s supply chain with the environmental, social and ethical principles set out in the Group Code of Conduct. As Chief Audit Executive his main activities and responsibility also include the building of the Internal Audit function and the deployment of the relevant methodologies; the risk assessment, the risk and control matrix of the processes, and the assessment of the adequacy of the internal control over financial reporting.
