BALCONAGAR: Mainpat Bauxite mines in Chhattisgarh of Bharat Aluminium Company Lmited (Balco) received Natonal Safety Award (Mines)-2008 for excellent safety management at the hands of President Shri Pranab Mukherjee in a scintillating function held at Vigyan Bhawan of New Delhi by Ministry of Labour and Employment.

India CSRDarbari Singh, a blaster at Mainpat Bauxite Mines received this award from the president on behalf of the company. Balco has achieved ZERO ACCIDENT target continuously from 2005-06 till date.

Mr. Gunjan Gupta, CEO, BALCO has appreciated the efforts of all Balco employees.
