कार्यालय कमान अधिकारी 2 राजआर एण्ड वी रेजी एनसीसी नवानियां द्वारा डीएवी हिन्दुस्तान जिंक जावर माइंस सीनियर सैकण्डरी विद्यालय को एनसीसी ट्रूप आंवटन की अनुमति दी गयी है। इस अनुमति के तहत् विद्यालय के 50 छात्र छात्राएं एनसीसी कैडेट्स बन सकेगें। विद्यालय को 2 एनसीसी विंग आवंटित किया गया है। डीएवी में वर्तमान में स्काउट और गाइड, एनसीसी एयर फोर्स विंग संचालित है एवं एनसीसी आर्मी विंग संचालन की अनुमति मिलने से विद्यालय में प्रसन्नता का संचार है। प्रथम वर्ष 21-22 और द्वितीय वर्ष 22-23 में 25 -25 छात्र छात्राओं को एनसीसी की सदस्यता दी जाएगी।  एनसीसी गतिविधियों का संचालन तृतीय अधिकारी विनोद कुमार शर्मा करेगें। एसबीयू निदेशक किशोर एस ने विद्यालय की उत्कृष्टता हेतु निरंतर प्रयासों के लिए प्रधानाचार्य हरबंश ठाकुर और स्टाफ को बधाई दी है।
