MANGALURU: Udupi Power Corporation Limited, in association with Adani Foundation, handed over a letter of confirmation of CSR Grant for an amount of Rs 4.63 crores to Mudarangadi Grama Panchayat in Udupi on Sunday.
The letter was handed over by Kishore Alva, executive director, Project Development and Corporate Affairs of UPCL to David D’Souza, president of Mudarangadi Grama Panchayat, at Grama Panchayat premises.
Based on the letter sent by the deputy commissioner of Udupi District, the Grama Panchayat have identified and given the list of works to be executed in their Grama Panchayat limits.
Accordingly Adani UPCL has approved for release of grants for executing those developmental works under its CSR. The confirmation letter for the same was handed over to Grama Panchayat.
The works under this grant shall be executed in phases for the next three years, said Kishore Alva.
He said, very soon the health insurance would be covered for all the villagers of Mudarangadi and Health Cards would be distributed.
