DHAMRA: The World Menstrual Hygiene Day was observed by Adani Foundation, Dhamra site on 28th May 2019 at Sabitri Sarai Anganwadi Centre, Dosinga GP, Dhamra, Odisha.
The objective of the program was to aware the women and adolescent girls about good menstrual hygiene and to overcome the myths and stigmas on menstruation. The ANMs delivered awareness messages to these women. To maintain hygiene during the time of periods, regular bathe, avoid wearing tight clothes and use of napkins should be the basic wardrobe for women.
Over 50 women and adolescent girls along with 5 Sanginis under SuPoshan project being run by Adani Foundation in Dosinga GP and other CSR staffs of Adani Foundation participated in this program.
The program was inaugurated by Mr. Satya Ranjan Mishra, Unit CSR head Adani Foundation, Dhamra and many numbers of Anganwadi workers and ANMs co-ordinated this programme successfully.
