KISHANGANJ: Project Potential Trust, a social organization catalyzing a community driven, conscious social change for development in Bihar, has announced their latest initiative, eArth Kala Manch.
Supported by BookASmile, the charity initiative of BookMySow, the programme aims to provide awareness through entertainment in 154 villages by training 500 youth in Thakurganj, Bahadurganj, Kochadhaman, and Dighalbank Blocks of Kishanganj over the next 6 months.

At BookASmile, we believe in driving change through mediums that leave a longer impact, theatre being one of them. eArth Kala Manch is a great platform to bring about change and we truly believe in its potential.”
The eArth Kala Manch team consists of experienced artists, musicians, and social activists from Bihar, who have a shared experience of over 60 years. Apart from dramas on different social issues relevant to the village, the team will also train the local youth in various life skills and in theatre. Addressing the need for the program, team director Abodh Kumar said, “Theatre is food for the soul, and makes the community more energetic for change.”
The team is also being mentored by renowned theatre and film artist Anjula Bedi, who said, “All the world’s a stage and theatre is the place where the world comes to see the truth about life and the social situations.”
