NEW DELHI: For the third consecutive year, Ingersoll Rand, a world leader in creating comfortable, sustainable and efficient environments, has been named to the FTSE4Good equity index series that measures the performance of companies with strong environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices.
This index series is a premier evaluation benchmark for socially responsible investment and further underscores Ingersoll Rand’s commitment to ethical and responsible practices that promote environmental stewardship, human rights and corporate governance.
“Sustainability in all its forms – business, social and environmental – is central to our strategy and we’re honored that our high performance results are again in inclusion on the FTSE4Good index series,” said Michael W. Lamach, chairman and chief executive officer of Ingersoll Rand.
ESG ratings are comprised of an overall rating that break down into underlying pillar and thematic exposures and scores. These scores provide market participants with a portfolio design and management tool against ESG criteria, as well as a framework for corporate engagement and stewardship.
FTSE Group confirms that Ingersoll Rand has been independently assessed according to the FTSE4Good criteria and has satisfied the requirements to become a constituent of the index.
