Starex University Conducts Seminar to Improve the Education System of Haryana

GURGAON: Over 50 academicians and educationists from government and private schools came together to deliberate upon ways to bring innovation to improve the education system in Haryana. The seminar held under the auspices of Starex University raised concerns over not even a single educational institution in Haryana figuring in The National Institutional Ranking Framework rankings recently released by Ministry of Human Resource Development.
On the occasion, Dr. Ashok Diwakar, Starex University Vice-Chancellor said, “We should come forward together to improve the educational standards of Haryana. The students need to be motivated to pursue research in various disciplines while teachers need to adopt innovative methods of teaching.”
“Starex University is working towards creating a core of trained lecturers who can ensure that the initiative remains sustainable in future,” he added.
Noted economist Dr. D. R. Agarwal highlighted that youth of Haryana do not lack ability; they just need proper motivation and guidance.
Anurag Bakshi, prominent member of Haryana Finance Commission, said education ensures inclusion of even not –so- fortunate ones into the mainstream society. He stressed upon research and innovation being instrumental in uplifting educational standards of Haryana. He added that Haryana educationists and academicians have a crucial role to play in enhancing the quality of education in the state.
Various educationists were also felicitated on the occasion. Among those present on the occasion were Mukesh Chaudhary, Principal, Bharat Public School, Bilaspur, Manipal, Director, DPSS School Siddrawali, Manoj Kumar Bisht, Bhagwati Public School, Manesar, Narender Singh, Vivekananda School, Kosli, Randhir Singh Renu, Director and Principal, Uma Bharti Public School.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. S.L. Vashisht, Registrar, Starex University.
