MUMBAI: YES BANK has been awarded with prestigious Karlsruhe Sustainable Finance Awards, in the ‘Outstanding Business Sustainability Achievement’ category.
These awards have been instituted by the European Organization for Sustainable Development, the City of Karlsruhe, Germany and the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific and were presented at the Global Sustainable Finance Conference 2015.
YES BANK was adjudged the winner for its outstanding success in incorporating sustainability within its corporate strategy and business processes. Namita Vikas, Senior President and Country Head – Responsible Banking, received the award on behalf of YES BANK from the first mayor of Karlsruhe Margret Mergen.
While the Award was being presented, Arshad Rab, CEO of the European Organization for Sustainable Development said “Congratulations to the Management, employees and the shareholders of YES BANK for receiving the Karlsruhe Sustainable Finance Awards 2015.

For its commitment of mainstreaming sustainability, YES BANK won this award under the ‘Outstanding Business Sustainability Achievement’ category for two years now (2015 & 2013) and in the previous year the Bank has also won the award for the ‘Outstanding Sustainable Project Financing’ category.
