For generations, Guna Milan has been one of the most trusted methods for evaluating marriage compatibility. A high score is often brings reassurance that two people are well matched. Yet, there are instances where couples with strong Guna Milan scores have still faced serious relationship challenges or even separation. It raises an important question: is a single score enough to understand the complexities of a lifelong relationship?
One such example (names changed for privacy) received an impressive 28 out of 36 in traditional Ashtakoot Guna Milan—a score widely regarded as a good match. On paper, everything looked promising. Yet, the marriage eventually ended in divorce.
This question inspired Bengaluru-based startup AIPandit Tech to explore whether Vedic matchmaking could offer deeper answers. Through its AI-powered platform, AIPandit, the company combines authentic Vedic astrology with artificial intelligence to analyse compatibility beyond traditional Moon-based matching.
Instead of relying on a single score, AIPandit studies planetary relationships across both charts, Dasha timing, more than 400 yogas and eleven dimensions of married life to provide a more complete understanding of relationship compatibility. Its AI-powered compatibility engine has analysed over 10 lakh kundalis. Initially offered through API integrations, the platform is now also available as an Android app, making AI-powered Vedic astrology accessible directly to users.
The objective is not to replace traditional astrology but to complement it by making complex Vedic principles easier to understand. By combining timeless astrological knowledge with modern AI, AIPandit Tech hopes to help people make more informed decisions before taking one of life’s most important steps.
