HYDERABAD: For thousands of engineering students across India, completing a B.Tech degree often brings a familiar question: *What next?* With numerous options such as higher studies, competitive examinations, employment, certifications, entrepreneurship, or studying abroad, many graduates find themselves navigating uncertainty rather than a clear career path.

To address this challenge, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), in collaboration with the Knowledge Foundation at Reutlingen University (KFRU), Germany, has introduced an International Integrated Bachelor–Master’s Program (IIBMP). The five-year program offers students a structured academic pathway that combines undergraduate education in India with a globally recognized Master’s degree from Germany, preparing them for international careers from the very beginning.

Designed for students who have completed 10+2 (MPC), the program integrates technical education with global exposure, enabling students to develop the skills needed to thrive in today’s technology-driven world.

Students can choose from two internationally focused pathways:

B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (JNTUH) + M.Sc. in Professional Software Engineering (Germany)
B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (JNTUH) + M.Sc. in Digital Business Management (Germany)

These programs are designed to bridge the gap between engineering excellence and leadership, preparing graduates not only to solve technical challenges but also to lead innovation in an increasingly interconnected global economy.

As industries across Germany and Europe continue to accelerate digital transformation, demand is growing for professionals with expertise in areas such as software engineering, artificial intelligence, Industry 4.0, advanced manufacturing, digital business, and electronics. Employers today seek individuals who combine technical knowledge with critical thinking, project management, communication skills, and the ability to work in multicultural environments.

The integrated program addresses these evolving expectations through an industry-oriented curriculum aligned with global standards. Students benefit from exposure to both Indian and German education systems while participating in practical learning, research collaborations, internships, and interactions with international faculty and industry experts. This experience helps develop adaptability, innovation, and a global mindset—qualities that are increasingly valuable in today’s workforce.

One of the program’s key advantages is academic continuity. Instead of pursuing separate bachelor’s and master’s degrees, students complete both within a single structured framework, allowing them to gain advanced qualifications in five years while saving valuable time and maintaining a focused career trajectory.

Graduates are well prepared for opportunities in software engineering, digital technologies, business analytics, embedded systems, IT consulting, research, and digital transformation. With Germany continuing to experience strong demand for skilled technology professionals, graduates of internationally integrated programs enjoy excellent career prospects across Europe and beyond.

Eligibility

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

10+2 (MPC)
Minimum 60% marks (First Class)
Indian Nationals, PIO, or OCI candidates
Admissions based on JEE Main 2026 and TS EAMCET 2026 merit

Admissions Open

Applications for the 2026 intake are open from June 24 to July 10, 2026, with counselling scheduled for July 15, 2026.

As engineering careers become increasingly global, students need educational pathways that offer more than just a degree. The JNTUH–KFRU International Integrated Bachelor–Master’s Program provides a unique opportunity to gain international qualifications, industry-ready skills, and global exposure within a single academic journey.

For aspiring engineers, the answer to “What after B.Tech?” no longer begins after graduation—it begins from the day they choose the right pathway.
