JAJPUR (Odisha): Shri Vivekananda Pattanayak, IAS (Retired), Ex-chairman of Odisha Public Service Commission and Shri Dr. Hara Prassanna Misra,Ex-chairman, Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha Limited (IPICOL) attended the vigilance awareness programme being observed at 
Nigam Limited (NINL) at Kalinga Nagar Industrial Complex (KNIC) in Odisha’s Jajpur District on 01.11.2013.
Shri Pattanayak said that corruption is not only related to financialirregularities, in fact it lies in the mind. Discriminating anybody or any group in any decision making is also a part of corruption. Dr.Misra also delivered an inspiring speech on the occasion. Including the Managing Director, Sri P.K. Mishra among others senior officials of NINL present were Director (Finance) Shri S.P. Padhi and Jt. MD Shri G.S. Gill, Executive Director (HR/IR) Sri C.K. Podder.
Earlier, on 28.10.2013 Vigilance Awareness Week was flagged off at NINL with the theme being “Promoting Good Governance –Positive Contribution by Vigilance”. The week, which concludes on 2nd November, commenced with employees taking pledge collectively to promote good governance. The pledge was administered by MD Shri Mishra.
