MUMBAI (India CSR): IIDE – The Digital Business School has been officially recognised as a Skilling Partner of the IT-ITeS Sector Skills Council, NASSCOM (SSC NASSCOM) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India (MSDE, GOI). The recognition validates the curriculum and learning framework of IIDE’s AI programs at a time when AI is rapidly transforming roles across industries. As part of this partnership, learners who complete the program receive a certificate from IIDE along with a certification from NASSCOM. The programs are designed around an application-led pedagogy, where proof of work is central to learning, supported by live demonstrations by industry practitioners, 1-on-1 mentoring and review from AI experts.
Commenting on the announcement, Karan Shah, Founder & CEO, IIDE, said, “Every few years, the whole job market goes through a transformation that reshapes how careers are built. We saw it a decade ago with digital marketing, and today, AI is driving the next major shift. We are extremely proud to partner with NASSCOM as we build industry-aligned programs with a clear outcome: creating a cohort of AI-enabled professionals who think AI-first and can build systems around it across marketing, sales, finance, HR, technology, operations, or customer support while contributing to the larger goal of strengthening India’s position as a global outsourcing hub for digital and AI talent.”

Alongside this milestone, IIDE has appointed Anshul Sharma as Head of AI Programs. Anshul previously held senior leadership role at Schbang and played a key role in building Schbang Academy. He has now trained over 15,000 learners and delivered sessions for senior leadership teams for brands such as Britannia Industries, UltraTech Cement, Sun Pharma, and Simpolo. At IIDE, he will lead the AI Programs vertical, driving business strategy, industry partnerships, learner experience and ensuring the programs remain deeply aligned with real-world AI adoption and industry needs.
IIDE has launched three AI programs designed for learners at different stages of their careers: the Certification in Generative AI (CGAI) for beginners, the Advanced Certification in AI (ACAI) for learners looking to build advanced, hands-on AI skills, and the Professional Certification in AI Strategy (PCAIS) for learners who want to use AI to build strategy & scalable systems.
Sharing his vision, Anshul Sharma, Head of AI Programs at IIDE, said, “India needs structured AI programs that bridge the gap between learning and application. Learning has to be rooted in implementation, iteration, and visible outcomes. Familiarity with tools isn’t enough when AI is now table stakes for most roles. At IIDE, our responsibility is to prepare this talent by building programs that mirror real-world adoption, where skills are practised, applied, and made visible with proof-of-work. With NASSCOM as a partner, we’re focused on creating an industry-backed upskilling ecosystem where AI acts as an enabler of better decisions and business outcomes.”
