NEW DELHI (India CSR): Mu Gamma Consultants Pvt. Ltd. (MGC), an ISO 9001–certified organisation working across Water Resource Management, WASH, Emerging Contaminants, Plastic Waste Management, Climate resilience, and Circular economy, celebrated its 10-year journey at CSOI, New Delhi.
H.E. May-Elin Stener, Ambassador of Norway to India, while speaking on the occasion, mentioned about the India–Norway Marine Pollution Initiative and the leadership role MGC has played. She also mentioned strengthening joint efforts in Blue economy and SDG 14 and praised MGC’s long-standing contribution to marine pollution mitigation.
Debashree Mukherjee, Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, stressed the growing demand for green skills, appreciating MGC’s Knowledge & Skills Academy for bridging the science–skills gap for climate-ready youth. She also appreciated MGC’s efforts in the water sector and being a trusted partner to several ministries of Government of India.
Bharat Lal, Secretary General, NHRC, underscored environmental protection as a shared duty, urging deeper community participation and institutional leadership. He praised MGC’s values and ethos in environmental protection.

Rajiv Ranjan Mishra, Former DG, NMCG, highlighted MGC’s pioneering work in treated wastewater reuse and river basin planning, calling the organisation “a dependable partner” in shaping India’s water-resilient future.
Dr. Hans Nicolai Adam, Sr Research Scientist, Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA), Oslo, emphasised the need for interdisciplinary, science-led action on chemical and plastic pollution, noting that “sustained international collaboration is key to solving complex environmental challenges.”
The evening began with a lamp-lighting ceremony, a welcome address by Dr. Girija Bharat, Managing Director of MGC and a multimedia showcase capturing MGC’s highly impactful projects and global collaborations. The event saw the launch of MGC’s Coffee Table Book, followed by felicitation of collaborators, advisors, and recipients of MGC’s Professional Excellence recognitions.
On this occasion, MGC announced new MoUs with SRM Institute of Science & Technology, Chennai and CDD India, along with the establishment of MGC Canada and MGC UAE chapters. Dr Sonia Grover, Associate Director of MGC received the Professional excellence award 2025.
The evening concluded with the announcement of Mu Gamma Knowledge & Skills Academy on nurturing the youth on Green skills, cutting edge knowledge and artificial intelligence (AI) integration in environmental stewardship, and preparing the youth for green jobs.
