GURUGRAM, HARYANA (India CSR): A vital three-day training workshop on Fluoride and Fluorosis Mitigation will be held from July 8 to 10, 2025, in Gurugram, Haryana. Organized by the S M Sehgal Foundation in collaboration with CAWST (Centre for Affordable Water and Sanitation Technology), the event aims to address the rising health challenges linked to fluoride contamination in drinking water.

Conducted in both English and Hindi, the training will cover the sources, spread, and health impacts of fluoride in rural water systems, along with prevention and mitigation techniques.
Practical Solutions for Communities
Participants will explore community-focused solutions such as water treatment technologies, behavior change approaches, and the use of local resources like Moringa and nutritious diets. The sessions will also include action planning to support fluoride mitigation at the grassroots level.
A Timely Call to Action
With fluorosis still impacting thousands across India, this initiative offers a powerful platform for health professionals, NGOs, and local leaders to drive change. The Gurugram workshop is not just about learning—it’s about creating healthier, fluoride-safe communities.
