Chhattisgarh Assembly Election 2023 Schedule Announced

In Chhattisgarh, the voting will take place on November 7th and 17th, with the results scheduled for December 3rd.

The Election Commission of India has officially announced the schedule for the Chhattisgarh Assembly Election 2023. This eagerly awaited announcement provides important details regarding the polling dates and result declaration for the 90 assembly constituencies in the state.

Election Dates Revealed

The Election Commission of India revealed the crucial dates for the Chhattisgarh Assembly Election 2023 on Tuesday. After extensive preparations for the election and vote counting across the state’s 90 assembly seats, the Election Commission made the much-anticipated announcement.

Implementation of Model Code of Conduct

Simultaneously with the announcement of the election dates, the Election Commission has enforced the Model Code of Conduct in the state. This code of conduct will remain in effect until the conclusion of the elections. In Chhattisgarh, the voting will take place on November 7th and 17th, with the results scheduled for December 3rd.

Voting Details for Your Constituency

For a more detailed understanding of the election process, it’s essential to know the specific dates for your constituency. The Chhattisgarh election will be conducted in two phases. The first phase of voting is scheduled for November 7th, and the second phase for November 17th.

Phase 1 and Phase 2 Nomination Dates

For the first phase, the nomination process begins on October 13th, with the last date for filing nominations on October 20th. Nomination scrutiny will take place on October 21st, and candidates can withdraw their nominations until October 23rd. On November 7th, the first phase of voting will occur.

Moving on to the second phase, the nomination process starts on October 21st, with the last date for filing nominations on October 30th. Nomination scrutiny is set for October 31st, and candidates can withdraw their nominations until November 2nd. The second phase of voting is scheduled for November 17th, with vote counting on December 3rd.

Constituencies in Phase 1

In the first phase of the election, constituencies like Pandariya, Kawardha, Khairagarh, Dongargarh, Rajnandgaon, Dongargaon, Khujji, Mohla-Manpur (ST), Antagarh (ST), Bhanupratappur (Ajja), Kanker (Ajja), Keshkal (Ajja), Kondagaon (Ajja), Narayanpur (Ajja), Bastar (ST), Jagdalpur, Chitrakot (Ajja), Dantewada (ST), Beejapur (Ajja), and Konta (ST) will go to the polls.

Constituencies in Phase 2

The second phase of the election will see voting in constituencies like Bharatpur-Sonhat (ST), Manendragarh, Baikunthpur, Premnagar, Bhatgaon, Pratappur (ST), Ramanujganj (ST), Samri (ST), Lundra (ST), Ambikapur, Sitapur (ST), Jashpur (ST), Kunkuri (ST), Pathalgaon (ST), Lailunga (ST), Raigarh, Sarangarh (Ajja), Kharsia, Dharamjaygarh (ST), Rampur (ST), Korba, Katghora, Pali-Tanakhar (ST), Marwahi (ST), Kota, Lormi, Mungeli (Ajja), Takhatpur, Bilha, Bilaspur, Beltara, Masturi (Ajja), Akaltara, Janjgir-Champa, and Sakti.

Additionally, the second phase will include constituencies like Chandrapur, Jaijaipur, Pamgarh (SC), Saraipali (SC), Basna, Khallari, Mahasamund, Bilaigarh (SC), Kasdol, Baloda Bazar, Bhatapara, Dhamtari, Sanjari Balod, Dondi Lohara (ST), Gundardehi, Patan, Durg-Rural, Durg City-West, Durg City-North, Durg City-South, Arang (SC), Abhanpur, Rajim, Bindranawagarh (ST), Sihawa (ST), Kurud, Dhamtari, Sanjari Balod, Dondi Lohara (ST), Gundardehi, Patan, Durg-Rural, Durg City-West, Durg City-North, Durg City-South, Arang (SC), Abhanpur, Saja, Bemetara, and Nawagarh (SC).
