New Delhi – IndusInd Bank indicated 6 cases filed on sexual harassment in FY2018-19, the annual report of the company says.
However, the Bank has zero tolerance for sexual harassment at workplace and has adopted a policy on prevention, prohibition and redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women at the Workplace, in line with the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and the Rules made there under.
The Bank’s Policy on prevention, prohibition and redressal of sexual harassment at workplace aims to provide protection to women employees at the workplace and prevent and redress complaints of sexual harassment and for matters connected or incidental thereto, with the objective of providing a safe working environment.
The Bank has complied with provisions relating to the constitution of Internal Complaints Committee under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act to enquire into the complaints of sexual harassment and recommend appropriate action.
The Bank has received 6 complaints alleging sexual harassment at workplace during the financial year 2018-19 and all cases are resolved.
