Villages and Employees of Mayur Uniquoters Ltd Contribute Towards Clean India Mission

An Initiative towards Swacch Bharat Abhiyan of Mayur Uniquoters Limited

JAIPUR: Dhodsar village witnessed a thorough cleanliness drive on 14th November 2014 when more than 100 employees of Mayur Uniquoters Limited along with 50 villagers contributed towards the Nation’s drive of “Clean India”.

Employees of Mayur Uniquoters Ltd - CopyGuided by the visionary leadership of its CMD Mr. S.K.Poddar, Mayur Uniquoters Ltd. has joined in the drive which has resulted in The “Clean Dhodsar” – a CSR initiative.  The initiative witnessed more than 100 employees from Mayur Uniquoters Ltd. along with self motivated villagers contributing for more than 2 hrs. for the betterment of the society. Equipped with brooms, shovels, bins and garbage trolleys, the enthusiastic group collected the total waste of nearly 8 tons which was then sent to the specified disposal pit.

The drive was conducted simultaneously at 6 prime locations in the village viz. Panchayat Office, New Bus Stand, Govt. Girls School, Govt. Boys School,  Primary Health Center and Sahkari Samiti.

The Block CDPO, Sarpanch – Dhodsar, villagers along with the senior officials of Mayur Uniquoters Ltd. were present on the occasion and initiated the drive.

The initiative was well accepted and appreciated by the residents of the village. The officials of Mayur Uniquoters Ltd. addressed that they will continue with their sustained commitment towards well being of society through similar initiatives.
