MUMBAI: United Way Mumbai conducted a Let’s READ event in Sion Mumbai Public School, on the December 14, 2017.
The event, supported by IFFCO Tokio, aimed to bring the world of story books and reading under one roof for the school children.
The children were also treated to a day filled with fun, learning and the magic and wonder of books, through two storytelling sessions, conducted by gifted professional storytellers. The sessions were interactive, bringing the stories to life for the children, who participated enthusiastically, throughout. Art and craft activities helped the children picturize their favourite stories and also stressed the importance of activity based learning.
