WHO estimates that blood donations by 1 percent of a country’s population can help meet its basic requirements for blood (Source: WHO’s “Towards 100% Voluntary Blood Donation: A Global Framework for Action”). However, India falls short by 3 million units annually; this could be addressed if 2 percent more Indians donated blood.

From March 22, donors can visit blood donation buses at various locations around Delhi NCR, while on March 24, they can donate blood at an air-conditioned camp at Ambience Island, Corporate Towers II and on March 25 at a camp in Ambience Mall, Gurgaon.
