Play Learn Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged children through Education, has joined forces with Meritus AI and the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) to promote education and uplift the socio-economic status of underprivileged school students.
Our vision is to introduce to as many Indian High school students a cutting-edge opportunity to take part in the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) a global technology focussed competition.
Play Learn Foundation expects to support 150 underprivileged and middle-class school students, facilitating their participation in the WRO’s self-driving car and autonomous vehicle Competition.
Meritus will be reaching out to Indian Companies to consider sponsoring Indian students through. Corporate entities are invited to come forward and support Indian students in showcasing their talents at the World Robot Olympiad competition 2024 at Turkiye . Your contribution can make a significant difference in providing these students with the resources and opportunities they need to excel. Meritus is thrilled to announce its association with World Robot Olympiad (WRO), marking a first for an Indian company to have been selected to partner with the prestigious World Robot Olympiad (WRO). Additionally, Aramco has recently joined as the Global Innovation partner of WRO.
Government of India has been giving increasing importance towards AI, Robotics, Electric Vehicles and Self-Driving car technologies. The WRO-Meritus partnership extension will help Meritus to focus on “Make in India” AI kits for the “Future Engineers” Competition category of World Robot Olympiad (WRO). The ‘Future Engineers’ category of World Robot Olympiad (WRO), is for students aged 8 and above to Design, Develop, and Program Robots based on real-time self-driving vehicles for real-world challenges.
In order to develop global Talent from India, Meritus will reach out to Indian Corporate companies to consider sponsoring multiple Teams from India. This sponsorship will demonstrate support for empowering Indian students to get on to the Global Talent Stage.
Incidentally both Play Learn Foundation and World Robot Olympiad (WRO) are non-profit organizations dedicated to promoting AI & Robotics in STEM education.
