Union Budget 2023-24 has received a positive review from Raj Kumar, who believes that it will help to drive economic growth and development in the country.
NEW DELHI: The Union Budget 2023-24, announced by the Honorable Finance Minister, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, has received a warm reception from the Chairman and Managing Director of Rodic Consultants, Raj Kumar.
He praised the budget’s emphasis on infrastructure as one of the seven key priorities, saying that the new outlay of 10 lakh crore for infrastructure would contribute to the development of the country. Kumar expressed his belief that this investment would provide a much-needed boost to the economy and stimulate growth.
One of the standout features of the budget, according to Kumar, was the allocation of 10 thousand crore per annum for urban infrastructure in Tier 2 and 3 cities, which he said would prove to be a boon for the country’s development. He also praised the government’s decision to create a separate Infra Finance Secretary, which he believed would bring momentum to infrastructure execution.
In addition to the focus on infrastructure, Kumar also highlighted the government’s efforts to ease the process of doing business in India. The reduction of 39k compliances and 3k legal provisions, he said, would help to build trust between the government and businesses and help create a more favorable environment for investment.
Finally, Kumar praised the capital outlay of Rs 2.4 lakh crore provided for railways, calling it a big progressive step. Overall, the Union Budget 2023-24 has received a positive review from Raj Kumar, who believes that it will help to drive economic growth and development in the country.
