NEW DELHI: Uppercase Accessories, recently launched a 100 Days of Sustainability initiative with its eco-friendly luggage brand uppercase. The initiative aimed to make a difference in the fight against climate change by utilizing planet-friendly materials and ethical and sustainable manufacturing methods.
During the 100 days of production, the brand manufactured 30,500 bags and reused 1,57,040 plastic bottles. This not only conserved 2,001 liters of oil, but also prevented 9,970 kg of CO2 from polluting the planet. uppercase uses 27.5 plastic bottles for every large trolley, saving 1744.0 grams of Carbon and conserving 350.0 ml of oil. On the other hand, a backpack is produced using 5 plastic bottles, saving 320.0 grams of Carbon and conserving 65.0 ml of oil.
