SINGRAULI (Madhya Pradesh): As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Mahan Aluminium – Aditya Birla Group organised a interaction programme with CSR co-ordinators, filed volunteers and Sarpanchs of nearby villages at Bargawan under Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh, where Aluminium plant is situated.
A ceremony was organized to commemorate the hard work and dedication demonstrated by the CSR field volunteers during the recent past and serving the society as a whole on the grass root level.
Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRI) members, specifically the Sarpanch of all 14 villages were also recognized in the guidance and leadership of Unit Head – Ratan Somani for working hand in hand with the CSR department and its initiatives at all times.
Speaking the on the occasion – Somani said, “At Mahan – we believe that taking small steps in rural development shall make positive impact to the lives of the periphery villagers. We are committed to work closely with community”.
In the same line he congratulated all CSR field volunteers and team members for their Uphill Battle which they are fighting against poverty and other social evils motivated them to continue the good work.
