RISHIKESH: SEWA – THDC under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) outreach distributed Utility Items such as R.O. Water System, Stationary items for Schools, and Medicines for Hospitals etc. on August 7, 2018.
These items were distributed by Sunita Singh, Chief Patron, THDC Ladies Welfare Association, Rishikesh in the presence of Sushmita Patra, Premlata Arora and Mudita Goel Patrons of the Ladies Welfare Association.
In addition to this Chief Guest, Sunita Singh also felicitated the Volunteers of Indra Nagar Rishikesh for their contribution in creating awareness during the cleanliness drive by carried out by SEWA-THDC in the area.
It is to mention that SEWA-THDC is company sponsored NGO of THDCIL founded to carry out CSR Interventions.
H.L. Bharaj, ED (S&E/ Services) and President SEWA, Shailendra Singh, GM (S&E), Muhar Mani, GM (OMS), C. Minz, GM (Personnel) and Renu Jain, President Ladies Welfare Association, Rishikesh were also present on this occasion.
Today, THDCIL is one of the premier power generators in the country with installed capacity of 1513 MW with commissioning of Tehri Dam & HPP (1000MW), Koteshwar HEP (400 MW) and Wind Power Projects of 50 MW at Patan & 63 MW at Dwarka in Gujarat to its credit.
