LANJIGARH: Sesa Sterlite under its Public relation department has taken an initiative towards the promotion of sports among the youths in the peripheral areas.
Company has been participating in several competitions and engaging youths in this sports month.
Today the Sibaram Yuvak sangh of Chandanpur has organized inter district football tournament where around 12 teams has been participated. Jugal Mishra, General Manager -Maintenance (Sesa Sterlite Limited) has inaugurated the match by Lamping and Kicked the football in the presence of other dignitaries like Praveer Nayak-Block Development Office, Lanjigarh Panchayat Samiti,Karunakar Pradhani-Village Head, Sidhartha Behera-Sesa Sterlite , Bhimasen Sahu-Ex Samiti Member, Pramod Jena-School Head Master.
Addressing to the Community Chief Guest Mr.Mishra said that Sesa Sterlite under its Public Relation work has been trying his level best for the promotion of sports in the periphery.
Sports are the only way to bring the local talents to the district and state level and creating a good rapport & friendship among the community.
In the opening Ceremony Railway Team-Rayagada won in 1-0 against SYS-Chandanpur.Mr Pratyush Panda is the Match Refry of the match.
Company has built the Playground for the community where the competition has started. Around 3000 audience was enjoying the match.
Company has been associating with the youth in the peripheral in several sports activities like football,Cricket,Bad Minton ,Karate. Previously company has boosted several Local youth talents to the national level .
