BHUBANESWAR: Encouraged by the overwhelming response in the twin-cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, SenCiCare has now launched its services in the Steel City of Rourkela.
Meant for senior citizens’ care, this startup provides one-stop solution to enrolled members, ensuring safety and dignity.
“After successful incubation in Rourkela, Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, the SenCiCare model shall be replicated in other cities as well,” informs Plaban Mahapatra, its US-based young entrepreneur.
The services provided in this assisted living include delivery of groceries, medicines, veg & non-veg items at the doorstep; arranging telemedicine & pathological tests at home; payment of bills related to phone, water and electricity; installation of CCTV camera for surveillance; organizing various rites and rituals by arranging Purohit, Prasad and Puja materials.
“Like an extended family, we extend a number of complimentary hand-holding digital services to aged people, like: calling a taxi or an ambulance; joining social media or virtual meetings; online shopping for food or household materials; and addressing many more customized needs,” says Plaban.
“The membership fee has been kept at a nominal Rs.499 per month, which of course excludes payments to 3rd party,” he adds.
