VIKRAMPUR (Madhya Pradesh): Banking behemoth State Bank of India continued its support to AIM for Seva, through a generous donation of Rs. 7.5 lakhs towards the AIM for Seva Boys Student Home in Vikrampur, in Dindori District, Madhya Pradesh, AIM for Seva informed today. Nearly 150 people, including local dignitaries, SBI officials, and the students of the home were present on the occasion.
The General Manager of SBI Bhopal, Sri Madhusudhan Rao, the Assistant General Manager Sri L. Suresh Chandra, and Sri Manoj Rastogi of SBI Jabalpur were the special guests at the event. The officials interacted with the children and were very impressed with the students’ progress and behavior.
After the function, 15 fruit trees were planted as part of AIM for Seva’s Green Initiative.
State Bank of India has been an invaluable partner in AIM for Seva’s march towards an educated India, having sponsored three AIM for Seva student homes— in Anaikatti, Tamil Nadu; Kamalapuram, Andhra Pradesh and now, in Vikrampur, Madhya Pradesh—with a donation of Rs. 30.36 lakhs (around USD 57,100/AUD 55,000/ CAD 56,800) so far this financial year.
