KORBA (Chhattisgarh): Samir Cairae, Head of Diversified Metals, Vedanta Group along with Phillip Turner, Vedanta Group Head for Industrial Health, Safety and Environment came to Balco on the 22 August 2016 on a 2 day visit.
In the presence of Ramesh Nair, CEO & Whole Time Director, Balco and many Balco officers, Cairae launched the Sustainability Mobile App and the Dupont E-Learning Module (Hindi version). This was done in a function organised in The Comprehensive Building.
A workshop was also organised on Industrial Health, Safety and Environment under Mr. Phillip Turner’s leadership. Cairae and Turner met Safety Stewards working in different units of the Plant.
The visitors also took a tour of different units of the Plant and movated the
officers and employees working in them.
